100th Building Anniversary Celebration

The Church building of First Presbyterian Church of Albemarle was completed in February 1924 and the first service in the new building was on February 3rd, 1924. This year marks our 100th anniversary of FPC building! The church was dedicated on May 17th 1942, when it was debt-free.

We celebrated our building on February 18 along with the youth at the Youth Fundraiser Luncheon in the gym following worship. It was delicious! The donations given, go to support the two Montreat Youth Conferences that Middle and High School youth will attend in July of this year. Thank you to all those that donated, the youth raised $1,200!
